If you’ve been reading Poppet for a little while you’ll recognise cutie Maddison Brown from a whole lotta different posts. What can I say she’s just Poppet’s kinda gal? Here’s a couple of gorgeous shots Mick Bruzzese took of a fresh faced, unmade up Maddi.

Where are you from originally? Sydney!
How were you discovered? I entered the Girlfriend Rimmel Model Search in 2010 and placed as a finalist
How long have you been modelling? Roughly 12 months now
If I weren’t modelling I’d be….? Acting! I was an actor before modelling and it’s something I grew up with.
Favourite film? I have a few but up there would be ‘The Little Mermaid’ and ‘Bridesmaids’
What item in your wardrobe can you not live without? My collared shirts, they are my fashion staple!
Most played song or album on your iPod? Juicy – The Notorious B.I.G

Julia Bijoch giving sporty a good name in the latest Yen.

We planned to shoot this story in a skate bowl but as usual in Sydney this summer – it rained like a mo fo ALL day long. So we shot it at my studio. I think it turned out pretty great anyway.

So I’ve had a bit of a busy week. Shooting loads for Yen (which is what the above is for – bit of a pastel extravaganza planned for tomorrows shoot) along with a few other projects on the go.

So I thought I’d give you a little peak of what’s kicking around Poppet HQ at the moment (AKA my crammed to the brim share studio). Apologies in advance for terrible iPhone photography skills.

The boyzzzz!! I’m in love with these hilarious Jeremy Scott for adidas originals sneakers. They make me laugh every time I come into the office. If they could talk I think they’d sound like the Fonz “hheeeeeeyyy sit on it.”

Another little number for tomorrows shoot. Am in LOVE with this incredible lilac dress from new label, Dorota. Silk & velvet…increds. (The iPhone camera really not doing this puppy justice.)

The amazing Charlotte Gainsbourg sits above my computer. I love everything about this photo, even though it makes me want to crawl back into bed on crap rainy days like today.
